Terms & Conditions
1. These terms & conditions are between Rise Recruitment (The Agent) and the employer (The Client).
2. The agreement between The Agent & The Client shall be deemed to be accepted by, and binding on The Client as soon as The Client interviews or engages a Candidate referred by The Agent, whether for the position offered or in any other position within 12 months of the date of referral by The Agent.
3. Fees payable by The Client are calculated by applying a percentage rate of the first years anticipated salary including all guaranteed commissions, bonuses and taxable remuneration. The percentages to be applied are as follows:

Up to & including £14,999 15%
£15,000 - £19,999 20%
£20,000 plus 25%
4. The Client shall be able to pay The Agent's fee in accordance with clause 3 when The Agent directly or indirectly introduces a Candidate who enters the Client's employ and/or service. The Client should be liable to pay The Agents fee as aforesaid if it refers The Candidate to it's subsidiary or associated companies or any third party which engages The Candidate or in any event where an engagement results directly or indirectly from the introduction of The Agent.
5. The Client shall pay The Agent's fees in accordance with clause 3 within 7 days of commencement of the engagement of The Candidate. Should the invoice not be paid within the net period any rebate period will become automatically exempt.
6. Self employed Candidates or Candidates working under a contract of service will be treated the same way as salaried Candidates and the same rates will apply. All fees are subject to Value Added Tax at the standard rate.
7. All reasonable efforts are made to ensure the suitability of each Candidate introduced to The Client by The Agent. The Agent does not obtain or verify references, warrant the integrity, capability or qualifications of the Applicant and The Client should satisfy themselves in all such matters. The Client is advised to establish The Applicant has the necessary licences, authorities and work permits where applicable.
8. Rise Recruitment does not recognise trial periods for Candidates. In the event of the Candidate leaving The Client's service (the Termination) within 6 weeks of commencement of work for The Client the fee referred to above shall be subject to rebate as below, providing such fee was paid in accordance with the time specified on the invoice. Should The Client or any associated company of The Client re-engage the Candidate with-in 6 months of the Termination, the full fee becomes payable less credit for any amounts already paid to Rise Recruitment in respect of the Engagement. No rebate will be made unless The Client notifies Rise Recruitment in writing with-in 7 days of the Termination.

9. This agreement shall not be varied in any way except in writing by the Partners of Rise Recruitment.
10. This Agreement shall be interpreted in accordance with English Law and the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
